New redesigned website coming 11 am September 25

The City of Monroe is excited to announce the official launch of its newly redesigned website, set for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.

The website, monroenc.org, has been overhauled to provide residents, businesses, and visitors with a more user-friendly and efficient platform to access City information and services. The web address will remain the same (monroenc.org), and the redesigned site will automatically load after Wednesday’s launch.

The redesign is part of Monroe’s ongoing efforts to improve communication with the community. Key features of the new website include:

  • Enhanced Navigation: Users can easily access City resources, services, and updates with streamlined menus and a simplified layout.

  • Mobile Responsiveness: Fully optimized for smartphones and tablets, the new website ensures a seamless experience across all devices.

  • Improved Search Functionality: Finding documents, services, and information is now faster and more efficient with enhanced search capabilities.

  • Dynamic Community Features: The site offers interactive tools such as an updated events calendar, public notices, and enhanced department pages.

  • Modern Design: The clean and visually appealing layout reflects the City’s commitment to progress and innovation.

"This new platform not only creates a welcoming first impression for residents and visitors but also makes it easier than ever to stay connected with City services and information," said Bradley Lucore, Communications Supervisor. "Whether you're making a payment for City services or exploring local events, our redesigned site ensures quick, accessible, and seamless interaction for everyone."

Additionally, the new website features five enhanced pages dedicated to the Monroe Science Center, Dowd Center Theatre, Monroe Aquatics & Fitness Center, Parks and Recreation, and Utilities. These individualized pages will provide a familiar monroenc.org experience enhanced with unique designs, specialized features, and robust capabilities.

The City of Monroe invites all residents to explore the new website starting at 11 a.m. on September 25.
